Getting here
Please book and submit your flights by May 1st.
You will book a multi-city or “open-jaw” flight into Stockholm (ARN) to land by 3:00 PM local time on July 13th, and out of Copenhagen (CPH) any time on July 19th. Keep in mind check-out from Villa Copenhagen is at 12:00 PM local time.
We will transfer together, as a group, from Stockholm to Copenhagen after breakfast on July 16th via train. The Company will arrange this travel for everyone in your party, so you do not need to make any travel arrangements from Stockholm to Copenhagen. Please see the FAQ below for more information on the transfer.
Where we’ll stay
Hotel At Six is a stunning contemporary luxury hotel located in the heart of Stockholm, transforming a former 1970s bank headquarters into an elegant design destination. Opened in 2017, this five-star hotel provides an immersive Scandinavian experience and incredibly convenient home base for first-time visitors to the Swedish capital.
Stockholm
Copenhagen
Villa Copenhagen combines luxury, elegance, and the Danish concept of hygge in the historic 1912 Danish Post and Telegraph building. Its prime location near Tivoli Gardens and the central train station makes it ideal for exploring the city. The hotel features a heated rooftop pool, stylish rooms, and inviting public spaces, providing a unique taste of Danish hospitality and contemporary elegance.
FAQs

The trip dates are July 13-19, 2025.
Most travelers will need to depart on an overnight flight on July 12, to arrive in Stockholm on July 13. You can depart from Copenhagen any time on July 19.

The VIP Club Trip will include a mix of daytime activities, walking on cobblestoned streets, evening events including a formal Awards Dinner, and train travel. Packing strategically is encouraged! Here are some tips to help you prepare:
Accommodation Considerations
Please note that European hotel rooms are generally smaller than those in the U.S., with limited storage space. You will be more comfortable in your hotel room if you can pack efficiently with minimal checked luggage.
Clothing
Formal Awards Ceremony (Black Tie Optional) - please note the floor at the Vasa Museum is made of small cobblestones and you will be walking on them during the Awards Dinner and accompanying museum tour. We strongly encourage sensible shoes.
Welcome Reception (Smart Casual)
Daytime Activities:
Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers appropriate for cobblestones and boat activities.
Layers for cooler mornings and evenings (fleeces, sweaters).
Swimsuit - Villa Copenhagen has a rooftop pool!
Waterproof jacket or umbrella, just in case.
Packing Strategically
Given the train travel between Stockholm and Copenhagen, we recommend packing lightly. Your large luggage will be sent via private courier, so each traveler will only bring a personal item (e.g., backpack or handbag) with essentials for the train journey.
Carry-On Essentials
Ensure your carry-on includes:
Power Adapter/Voltage Converter: If your electronics are dual voltage, you only need an adapter. If your electronics require 120V, you will also require a converter.
Passport and Travel Documents: Passport, visas, ETIAS approval (if applicable by July), and travel documents.
Medication: Prescription medication, contact lenses, etc..
Valuables: We suggest leaving these at home, but if you must travel with them, pack jewelry, watches, or other valuable items in your carry-on.
Essentials: Phone charger, portable power bank, and a change of clothes in case of unexpected delays.

Plan ahead!
US and Canadian citizens will need a passport that is valid for at least 3 months after your return date from Europe; we strongly suggest at least 6 months of validity on your passport.
US and Canadian citizens connecting on flights through the UK may need an electronic travel authorisation (ETA), if passing through border control - check with your airline if you’re not sure. Do this well in advance of the trip. You may not be able to travel if you don’t have an ETA. You can learn more about the ETA and apply for it here.
The European Union is also planning a European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS), which is a travel authorization for short-term stays in the EU. The program has been postponed until 2026 and we will keep you informed of any updates.
It is each individual's responsibility to stay updated on the latest visa and travel authorization requirements for your countries of origin, citizenship, layover, and destination. Check official government websites to confirm any necessary documentation for your travel dates to prevent any travel disruptions.

Yes! There will be plenty of opportunities to swim in your free time, including at our hotel in Copenhagen which has a heated rooftop lap pool!
The water in Stockholm’s archipelago and in Copenhagen’s canals is also so clean that you can swim in it, and many locals and visitors often do! You can learn more about where to swim in Stockholm here, and in Copenhagen here.
-
Sweden: The official currency is the Swedish Krona (SEK)
Denmark: The official currency is the Danish Krone (DKK)
We suggest downloading a currency converter app to your phone, as the exchange rates can be confusing! My Currency Converter & Rates (Apple | Android) is easy to use.
Both countries are largely cashless, and most major credit cards are widely accepted. You rarely need cash, but having a small amount can be useful for things like tips, small shops, or services. You can withdraw cash from ATMs using your international card.

We will travel from Stockholm to Copenhagen on Wednesday, July 15 on high-speed train, with a short transfer in Malmö, Sweden.
Please note: due to luggage limitations on the train, your packed luggage will be picked up late the evening before (Tuesday, July 15) and delivered to your room in Copenhagen on arrival on Wednesday.
You will be able to travel with a personal item on Wednesday, but we strongly suggest keeping it as small as possible and packing with this in mind. You will be responsible for carrying your day-of bag for up to half a mile over cobblestones, potentially stairs, on and off a train, and be able to lift/lower it in an overhead luggage compartment. If you anticipate any issues with the above, please make a note on your registration so we can accommodate you.
-
The Company will be taking out an International Medical Coverage policy for VIP Winners and their guest, which will cover individuals who are already covered by a domestic medical insurance or Medicare plan. This coverage will be valid from July 13-July 19. More information will be provided via email separately.
If you would like to purchase an additional insurance plan for unexpected travel related expenses due to delays, illness, etc., or for dates outside of the trip dates should you be extending your trip, you may do so at your own expense.
-
The group rate is available 3 days pre-arrival at the At Six, and 3 days post-departure at Villa Copenhagen, pending availability.
Please contact Laura Urso ASAP (lurso@activepure.com) to discuss your plans and request.

Taxis and public transportation are available in both cities.
When you arrive in Stockholm, you may taxi directly to the hotel for approximately $60-65USD. You may also take the Arlanda Express train to Stockholm Central Station. Trains run approximately every 10-15 minutes, and it is a 15 minute journey for ~$34USD/ticket; you can walk or taxi from the Central Station to the At Six hotel. Tickets can be purchased at kiosks inside the airport.
When you depart from Copenhagen, you can take the DSB train from Copenhagen Central Station (København H) to the airport, for around $5USD/ticket. The station is directly across from the hotel, and you can buy your ticket in the station. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the hotel for approximately $35-50USD.
If you plan to take the Arlanda Express or the DSB Train, double-check the train timetables to ensure there is a train running at the time you need, as trains may not run 24/7.
-
Both the At Six and Villa Copenhagen are in their respective city’s lively centers. You will be walking distance to bars and restaurants, shopping, activities, museums, and nightlife. You will be able to easily flag a taxi or hop on public transportation if you’d like to visit a landmark or destination that’s not within walking distance.
-
In both Stockholm and Copenhagen, tipping is not required as service charges are usually included in the bill, and staff are paid a living wage. However, it is always appreciated to round up the bill or leave a small tip (5-10% of the bill) if you receive exceptional service.
-
The vast majority of Swedes and Danes speak English fluently. You should have no trouble communicating with taxi drivers, guides, servers, etc.
It’s always polite to ask if somebody speaks English at the start of a conversation.
